Tudo que \u00e9 produzido e importado para o pa\u00eds (literatura, \u00e1udio e v\u00eddeo) deve receber uma aprova\u00e7\u00e3o especial do Comit\u00ea Estadual, que tamb\u00e9m decide o n\u00famero de c\u00f3pias que cada t\u00edtulo pode ser impresso ou importado. Em dezembro de 2011, o artigo 167-2 do C\u00f3digo Penal detalhou tal proibi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/itingagospel.com.br\/portal\/como-e-a-vida-dos-cristaos-no-azerbaijao\/attachment\/2741570\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7994\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7994\" title=\"2741570\" src=\"http:\/\/itingagospel.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/2741570.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"189\" srcset=\"https:\/\/itingagospel.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/2741570.jpg 300w, https:\/\/itingagospel.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/2741570-200x126.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Embora, a princ\u00edpio, livros sagrados (por exemplo, a B\u00edblia e o Alcor\u00e3o) seriam isentos da restri\u00e7\u00e3o, crist\u00e3os relatam que, desde 2008, at\u00e9 estes foram proibidos. Controles nas fronteiras (mesmo no aeroporto) foram feitos de maneira mais rigorosa para garantir que nenhum livro censurado fosse importado. Materiais religiosos muitas vezes s\u00e3o confiscados na entrada ou sa\u00edda do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Conte\u00fado religioso enviado por e-mail tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 verificado e, por vezes, censurado. Eles s\u00e3o, primeiramente, dirigidos \u00e0 Reparti\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional, em Baku. Para que o destinat\u00e1rio receba os materiais enviados a ele, precisa que cada t\u00edtulo seja aprovado pelo Comit\u00ea Estadual.<\/p>\n<p>Sem uma autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o oficial por escrito, nenhum com\u00e9rcio de impress\u00e3o e fotoc\u00f3pias tem a permiss\u00e3o de reproduzir materiais religiosos (especialmente os que estiverem em azeri, a l\u00edngua local do Azerbaij\u00e3o). Faz\u00ea-lo ilegalmente \u00e9 muito arriscado e raramente tal permiss\u00e3o \u00e9 concedida. Na maioria das vezes, a resposta \u00e9 negativa, ou n\u00e3o vem.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9 comum que o Comit\u00ea Estadual realize uma ampla pesquisa em livrarias atr\u00e1s de livros e publica\u00e7\u00f5es que violem as regras de censura, principalmente, no que diz respeito a materiais religiosos. Cada loja precisa de uma licen\u00e7a espec\u00edfica para vender esses materiais. Embora existam algumas lojas que prosseguem sem essa licen\u00e7a, o n\u00famero tem diminu\u00eddo significativamente.<\/p>\n<p>A exig\u00eancia de registro e a censura altamente restritiva torna a vida dos crist\u00e3os no Azerbaij\u00e3o bastante dif\u00edcil. Oficialmente, existem cada vez menos igrejas. Mais e mais grupos se encontram no circuito &#8220;ilegal&#8221;, apesar de todas as consequ\u00eancias poss\u00edveis (desde confiscos e multas a ataques e deten\u00e7\u00f5es).
